Blackpepper is a privately owned digital agency
that's been steadily growing since 2001. We have offices in central Auckland and Tauranga and a team of 10 core staff.
We like to think of ourselves as 'online enablers' offering the best solutions,
hosted on state-of-the-art hardware and developed by a team with an intimate
knowledge of the internet and it's applications. Our specialist creatives and technicians
handle all development and design in-house. They thrive on new challenges and
love it when Blackpepper's solutions exceed our clients' expectations.

solutions that enable them and serve their specific needs. We find out what sort of online
experience they're after, what results are important to them, how the solution should work and how

In 2006, Blackpepper began focusing on ecommerce and retail email marketing. It's now an
important part of our work, and an area we spend a lot of time researching and developing. More
than 180 companies are currently using our PepperSUITE CMS and ecommerce platform.

Technical
When it comes to technical development, we believe in making everything simple for the end
user - a site should just work, full stop. The Blackpepper in-house development team handles all
development and server management. This means we can choose the best tools to solve any problems, fast.

Our creative director Scott
has been at Blackpepper forever. He's responsible for all the design work in our Showcase.
Scott puts all his energy into online design and our technical team works hard to bring his visions to life.
Hosting
Blackpepper runs a cloud hosting solution on a VMware vSphere platform. Because we own and manage
all our hardware, our clients have just one number or email support line to get help with anything.
